“Stupid Breast Implants Rule”

UFC 210 almost lost one of the night’s key match ups when the NYSAC nearly pulled Pearl Gonzalez out of her fight with Cynthia Calvillo. It was revealed that Gonzalez has breast implants, causing a confusion with the NYSAC. The fighter was nearly pulled from her bout over an archaic ruling dealing with implants.

Now, former UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate has come forward with her thoughts on the situation.

In an interview with MMA Fighting,  Miesha Tate stated “I think that’s silly,” Tate said about the situation. “That shouldn’t even be a possible discussion. I think that a man made that rule and it’s extremely stupid.”
