On Saturday, June 3, UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo will defend his title against Interim UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 212.
“What Max Holloway has shown is an ability to be able to adapt and an extremely diverse move set that has allowed him to compete in a variety of ways,” UFC commentator Joe Rogan said.
“But the question is, does he have what it takes to beat the long-standing champion Jose Aldo?”
Holloway is currently on a 10-fight win streak in the UFC. He has beaten notable names including Jeremy Stephens, Charles Oliveira, Cub Swanson, Ricardo Lamas, and former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis.
“This is one of the most important fights in the history of the featherweight division,” Rogan said about UFC 212’s main event.
In the video below, you can hear Rogan, Holloway, and Aldo talk about the upcoming fight.
UFC 212 will take place on Aldo’s home turf of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
