The UFC returned to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for one of the most highly anticipated fights of the year.
At UFC 212, UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway unified his title Interim UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway in the main event.
Before the main event took place, the UFC provided another night full of intriguing matchups.
Ranked UFC bantamweight contender Iuri Alcantara competed on the prelims as he fought Brian Kelleher.
Alcantara seemed to be the much more calm fighter to start the fight. He quickly knocked Kelleher to the ground, but he was able to get back to his feet. Kelleher began landing shots of his own, but Alcantara did not seem to mind. Alcantara went for a takedown, but Kelleher secured a guillotine choke and submitted the Brazilian.
