Before the main event took place, the UFC provided another night full of intriguing matchups.
One of the top bantamweight in the UFC was in action as Johnny Eduardo fought Matthew Lopez.
Eduardo started the fight with a strong inside leg kick. Both fighters then exchanged punches. When one fighter seemed to gain momentum, the other would come back with a hard shot of their own. Lopez later landed a takedown, but Eduardo immediately when for a heel hook. Lopez escaped the hold and began throwing punches on the ground. After landing multiple punches, Lopez rocked Eduardo and finished the fight with ground-and-pound.
