UFC lightweight champion Conor “Notorius” McGregor has been attempting to land the payday of his career in a cross-promotional bout with undefeated boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. Now, the UFC lightweight champion is getting his wish.
With both fighters having signed their sides of the contract, the fight is officially on. Set for Aug. 26 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, the two fighters will finally get to battle it out. Now, it would appear that Showtime has revealed the night’s broadcast team.
As reported by MMA Fighting, the event will feature Brian Custer as the night’s host. Color analysts Al Bernstein and Paul Maglianaggi will be present for the event. Jim Gray, a ring side reporter, will be working the event. The team will also welcome boxing and MMA’s Mauro Ranallo for the event.
Showtime then revealed that the night will include “guest commentators” by potential UFC analysts.
