Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson has been coming under pressure by the mixed martial arts promotion as of late.
UFC President Dana White is interested in pinning former UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw against the flyweight champion. However, Demetrious Johnson does not want to face the former bantamweight champion.
Now, Demetrious Johnson has taken a moment on The MMA Hour to set things straight. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Johnson explained that he has UFC employees and fellow UFC champions on his side.
While Johnson would not provide a name, the fighter claims a fellow champion messaged him about the situation. “What the (expletive) is Dana White smoking? Did he not realize that T.J. is not a flyweight?” Demetrious Johnson claimed the champion stated.
