UFC Results: Nguyen Makes It Quick Work In Huge Upset Over Tim Elliott

On Saturday night, the UFC returned to the land down under for an exciting Fight Night event in Auckland, New Zealand.

In the main event, two of the best heavyweights in the UFC were set to do battle as Mark Hunt fought Derrick Lewis.

But before the pivotal heavyweight battle, the UFC once again featured a full night of intriguing bouts.

Former UFC flyweight title contender Tim Elliot fought on the main card against flyweight prospect Ben Nguyen.

Both fighters came out aggressive. Elliott went for a takedown but ate punches, kicks, and knees from Nguyen. After going to another takedown, Nguyen took Elliott’s back and submitted him with a rear-naked choke.
