Retired UFC fighter Urijah Faber recently shared a video poking fun at the upcoming boxing match between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
On Thursday, Faber shared a video of a street fight where the combatants’ heads were replaced with McGregor and Mayweather. The fight started with both fighters punching, just like a boxing match, but ended when one guy picked up and slammed his opponent.
“Would everyone still get paid if this went down in the 1st? Tyson-Holyfield was a little outside the box. Maybe worth a fine,” Faber said on his Instagram page.
Many analysts have questioned whether or not McGregor may try to do something illegal in his boxing match against Mayweather.
During a conference call, UFC President Dana White confirmed there are clauses in McGregor’s contract that do not allow him to use any illegal techniques. McGregor could get sued and lose quite a bit of money if he were to go for a takedown, throw a kick, or do any other legal MMA techniques that are illegal in a boxing match.
