Vitor Belfort Brings a Dog to UFC 212 Weigh-Ins

One of the biggest stars of UFC 212 fight week is not one of the fighters.

UFC legend Vitor Belfort has recently received a service dog named Zenia. The dog has been by Belfort’s side for all of the fight week activities.

On Friday, during the official UFC weigh-ins, Zenia even accompanied Belfort as he made his way to the scale.

Belfort weighed in at 185 pounds for his middleweight fight on Saturday.

At UFC 212, Belfort will fight former UFC title challenger Nate Marquardt.

There has been speculation that this will be Belfort’s final fight in the UFC. While even Belfort believed this would be his final fight, during fight week, Belfort has seemed to change his mind about his fighting future. After his fight on Saturday, Belfort will have one more fight left on his UFC contract.

Belfort has been winless in his last three UFC appearances. He is coming off TKO loses to Kelvin Gastelum, Gegard Mousasi, and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza. However, his fight against Gastelum was later ruled a no contest due to Gastelum testing positive for marijuana use.
