Mixed martial arts legend and former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort is gearing up for his next octagon appearance tonight. The former champion will be facing off against Nate Marquardt at UFC 212 tonight. However, it would appear that the former champion has picked up a new companion ahead of his incipient match.
In the latest episode of UFC 212 Embedded, Vitor Belfort can be seen being accompanied by a service dog. In another edition of the vlog series, Vitor Belfort explains that the service dog helps him while he travels.
The fighter admitted that he does not like planes and the pet companion helps him travel. However, the former champion never delves any deeper into why he prefers to be accompanied by the service dog or what has created his distaste for plane travel.
