Things are starting to get personal between lightweight prospects Michael Johnson and Justin Gaethje.
Both fighters are scheduled to compete in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption Finale on July 7.
On Thursday, Johnson and Gaethje appeared at media day for this year’s UFC International Fight Week.
Johnson and Gaethje began trash talking one another during their face off in front of the media. After the two left the stage, Johnson got personal with his trash talk as the fighters were leaving.
“Did your mom have sex with her brother to have you, or was it your cousin or something,” Johnson said to Gaethje. “You’re the most inbred piece of (expletive) I’ve ever seen in my life. So who (expletive) who? Did you mother (expletive) her brother or her sister’s brother or somebody? Who in your family had sex with each other to have you?”
Gaethje will be making his UFC debut when he fights Johnson. Gaethje is a former World Series of Fighting lightweight champion and is currently undefeated with 17 wins.
Johnson is currently coming off a submission loss to top contender Khabib Nurmagomedov back in November.
