UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping showed the ultimate sign of disrespect to Yoel Romero on Saturday night.
At UFC 213, Romero fought Robert Whittaker to crown a new interim champion in the middleweight division.
During the fight, Bisping ripped a small Cuban flag while sitting cage side.
In the video below, you can see Bisping insult Romero and his home country.
It’s no secret there is bad blood between Bisping and Romero. Even though Romero was fighting a different opponent, he found time to trade insults with the UFC champion.
In the end, Bisping may have got into Romero’s head because Whittaker walked away with the interim title.
Romero and Whittaker fought in an exciting back-and-forth battle that saw Whittaker just barely earn himself the decision victory.
With Whittaker being the interim champion, he is next in line to fight Bisping for the undisputed UFC middleweight title.
