The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently put on another big mixed martial arts event. UFC 213 went down inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 8. The night’s main event was snubbed after UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes suffered health issues. In its place, top UFC middleweight contenders Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker faced off for the interim title.
In the end, Robert Whittaker earned himself a unanimous decision victory over his opponent. After the fight, UFC middleweight champion Michael “The Count” Bisping made his way into the cage. The champion then threw his belt at the feet of Whittaker, talking some trash with the new interim champion.
However, Bisping also took a moment before the match’s end to tear up a small Cuban flag and throw it in Romero’s direction. Yoel Romero has now provided a response. In the video above, Romero can be seen burning a picture of Bisping, as Bisping holds a British flag.
