The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for another exciting night of fights. The mixed martial arts promotion hosted the TUF 25 finale event last night, but the promotion is doubling down for another big night of fights right now.
UFC 213 is set to go down tonight, July 8, inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the night’s main event, UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes is set to face off against former opponent and rising challenger Valentina Shevchenko. However, it would appear that the night’s main event has been pulled.
Ariel Helwani reported over Twitter, “Amanda Nunes has been feeling ill this week. She’s currently in the hospital. Tonight’s main event is in jeopardy. No official word yet.”
