UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt is now a married man.
On Wednesday, during a live episode of UFC Tonight, Garbrandt revealed that he recently got married to his longtime girlfriend Danny Pimsanguan.
UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping asked Garbrandt about the ring on his finger, and Garbrandt immediately started blushing. When Karyn Bryant said they were going to assume he got married, Garbrandt responded by saying “yes”.
Life seems to be good for the UFC bantamweight champion despite him currently suffering from a back injury.
Garbrandt was originally scheduled to headline this weekend’s UFC 213 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This would have been Garbrandt’s first title defense, and first time headlining a pay-per-view event.
Garbrandt was scheduled to fight his former teammate former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw, but Garbrandt withdrew from the fight because of his back.
UFC President Dana White recently said he hopes to have Garbrandt back in the cage in October.
