However, McGregor has received some backlash for statements made during the recent press conference tour for the fight.

McGregor stated “dance for me, boy” to his opponent during a recent press conference, creating controversy that has included racial accusations against the UFC champion. Now, Conor McGregor has come forward with his thoughts on the situation.

In a recent media scrum, Conor McGregor explained that his actions in the press conferences were in “fun.” The fighter claims he was not attempting to bring things on a racial level.
