Dana White Explains Why There’s No Rematch Clause On The #MayMac Contract

The highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor will most likely be a one-time thing.

There is no rematch clause in the fight contract between Mayweather and McGregor. UFC President Dana White recently revealed why no rematch clause was put in their fight contract.

“To even think about a rematch, you have to see the fight first,” White said.

White didn’t close the door on the possibility of there being a rematch. The UFC figurehead said if Mayweather vs. McGregor is the greatest fight you’ve ever seen, then they would definitely consider doing it again.

McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he steps into the boxing ring with Mayweather. The UFC champion is leaving the world of MMA to earn the biggest payday of his career.

Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
