Former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez thinks you’re an idiot if you don’t think UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor can knock out Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
In November, at UFC 205, McGregor knocked out Alvarez to become the UFC lightweight champion.
In a recent interview with ESPN, Alvarez discussed the upcoming boxing match between Mayweather and McGregor.
“Conor has about three or four rounds to get this done,” Alvarez said about McGregor’s chances of winning.
“Within four rounds, if you don’t think Conor can knock him out, you’re an idiot or you just don’t know fighting because it can very well happen.”
Alvarez went on to say if McGregor doesn’t finish the fight within four rounds, then Mayweather will likely dominate the fight in a one-sided battle.
McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he steps into the ring with Mayweather.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
