UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor has not received much confidence from the boxing world on his chances against Floyd Mayweather Jr. The two are set to face off inside a boxing ring on Aug. 26. With the fight drawing near, fighters and fans are dishing out their thoughts on the cross-promotional match up. Olympic gold medalist boxer Nicola Adams is not impressed with the UFC champion.
As reported by Box Nation, Nicola Adams was interviewed by The Sun. In the interview, the medalist explained “It’s not something you get to see everyday, a UFC fighter boxing a top class boxer, I definitely see Floyd Mayweather winning by knockout.”
When asked how she believes she would fair against the UFC champion, Adams stated that she could beat him well enough.“Yeah definitely in the boxing ring, I don’t know about in the octagon, but in the boxing ring.”
