Fighter Goes To Sleep, Bad Referee Allows Him To Wake Up And K.O. Opponent

On Wednesday, a fight in Turkey had one of the most bizarre finishes in MMA history.

At ACB 64 in Antalya, Turkey, bantamweight fighters Nashkho Galaev and Denis Mutsnek fought in a fight that saw two different finishes.

In the first round, Mutsnek managed to choke Galaev unconscious. However, the referee didn’t stop the fight and Galaev managed to wake up and continue.

In the second round, Galaev landed a perfectly-timed knee that knocked Mutsnek out cold.

In the video below, you can see Galaev get choked unconscious, and somehow recover in order to knock out his opponent.

Galaev is now on a five-fight win streak in ACB. He holds an overall record of 6-3. All of Galaev’s wins have come by knockout or TKO.

This unfortunate loss marked Mutsnek’s fourth consecutive loss in ACB. He has an overall MMA record of 11-6.
