Floyd Describes What He Saw In Conor’s Eyes During Their Series Of Intense Staredowns

Floyd “Money” Mayweather has revealed what he saw in UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor’s eyes when the two went face-to-face.

Last week, Mayweather and McGregor held four press conferences, in four different cities, in four consecutive days. At each press conference, both fighters had the opportunity to square off with their upcoming opponent.

After having a staredown with McGregor, Mayweather was asked what he saw in the UFC champion’s eyes.

“A fighter. A warrior. A guy who wants to win,” Mayweather said about McGregor.

Mayweather went on to list off the advantages McGregor will have in their upcoming fight, including his age, reach, and being a more active fighter.

Mayweather has been retired from active competition for almost two years. He is returning to the sport of boxing to possibly earn the biggest payday of his life. But to earn that money, he must put his perfect 49-0 record on the line.

Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
