Floyd Mayweather Reacts To “Dance For Me Boy” Comments, Says “Racism Still Exists”

During their first press conference, UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor may have gone too far with his trash talk towards Floyd “Money” Mayweather.

In Los Angeles, Mayweather was shadowboxing in front of the live audience when McGregor yelled out, “Dance for me, boy!”

Mayweather recently talked to TMZ Sports and talked about how he felt about McGregor’s comment.

“Racism still exists, but I try to take some negative and turn it into something positive. There are only two types of boys, a white boy and a cowboy. And I’m not either. I’m just joking,” Mayweather said laughing.

“I’m not upset at all. Conor McGregor is a tough competitor. I’m a tough competitor. It’s about giving the fans what they want to see. A lot of people say Conor McGregor is racist, but I don’t worry about that. It’s about going out there and doing my job.”

Mayweather will fight McGregor in a boxing match on Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
