ONE flyweight world champion Kairat Akhmetov suffered a severe back injury back in 2015. The fighter received a herniated disc in his back, causing debilitating pain for the fighter. As a result, Akhmetov was forced to cancel his first title defense. However, the fighter is now ready for another round inside the cage.

Now the champion is set to face off against interim champion Adriano Moraes in the main event of ONE: Conquest of Kings. The event will go down July 29 in Surabaya, Indonesia.
