On Tuesday, the first press conference for the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor took place.
In Los Angeles, thousands of fans and media members filled the Staples Center to watch the two elite fighters go face-to-face and trade verbal jabs.
Even though McGregor and Mayweather didn’t disappoint, there were some technical difficulties throughout the press conference. In the arena, there were problems with the audio, and apparently, FOX Sports also had some issues with their live feed.
While McGregor was talking trash to Mayweather, FOX Sport’s stream went out forcing them to go to a live shot of Kenny Florian and Karyn Bryant live in the studio.
Clearly, neither of the UFC analysts were aware of the situation. FOX’s live shot showed Bryant is a robe and Florian with an unbuttoned collar. The entire incident can be seen in the video below.
Hopefully, the next three press conferences taking place this week will have less technical difficulties.
