UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping recently mocked top middleweight contender Yoel Romero on his Instagram page.
In a photo promoting the latest episode of his podcast, Bisping posted a photo of Romero receiving a steroid injection from God.
Romero’s nickname is the “Soldier of God” and has strong religious beliefs. He often talks about his faith in interviews, which includes his post-fight interviews in the UFC cage.
In 2016, Romero was suspended by the UFC after testing positive for a banned substance. Romero was suspended for six months after it was proven he failed his drug test after taking a tainted supplement.
Romero is currently scheduled to fight for an interim title this Saturday. At UFC 213, Romero will fight Robert Whittaker in the co-main event. Whoever wins the interim title is expected to fight Bisping in his next fight.
Bisping has not fought since defending his title against Dan Henderson last October. Bisping has been suffering from a lingering knee injury that has kept him out of the cage.
