On Sunday, UFC strawweight prospect Cynthia Calvillo will fight in the biggest fight of her UFC career when she fights strawweight contender Joanne Calderwood.
On Thursday, some of the fighters competing at Sunday’s UFC Fight Night in Glasgow, Scotland were given the opportunity to square off with their upcoming opponents.
Things quickly got intense between Calvillo and Calderwood when the two went face-to-face.

Calderwood is currently ranked No. 8 in the official UFC women’s strawweight rankings. She is currently coming off a submission loss to Jessica Andrade last September.
Calvillo is ranked No. 14 in the strawweight division. The Team Alpha Male fighter is currently undefeated with five wins. Her last two fights have taken place inside the Octagon. Calvillo has managed to submit both of her UFC opponents.
