UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson is tired of being told he isn’t a draw.
While live streaming on his video game channel on Twitch, Johnson was being told he wasn’t a draw and didn’t make the UFC much money.
Angry at the internet troll, Johnson decided to look up the actual numbers when it comes to his fights.
Johnson chose a couple of UFC pay-per-view events and Fight Nights, which he headlined, and shared the amount of pay-per-view buys and live attendance the events had.
In the video above, you can listen to Johnson break down the numbers for some of the UFC events he has headlined.
Johnson’s last fight took place in April and was an event that aired on FOX. Johnson’s title defense against Wilson Reis earned $1.081 million with its attendance gate.
Johnson also brought up the first two pay-per-view events he headlined. UFC 174, in 2014, had a pay-per-view buy rate of 115,000. UFC 178, a couple months later, had a buy rate of 205,000.
Johnson also mentioned that the first event he ever headlined, which was a UFC on FOX event in 2013, earned a live gate of $1.27 million.
