UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping made a big mistake by ripping the Cuban flag.
At UFC 213, Bisping sat cage side for the interim middleweight title fight between Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker.
During the fight, Bisping tour a small Cuban flag as a sign of disrespect to Romero.
Romero wasn’t the only Cuban UFC fighters insulted by Bisping’s actions. UFC welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal also wanted to get revenge against the UFC champion.
“(Expletive) (Michael Bisping) has every Cuban on him now. It’s #hoslap on site. Keep your (expletive) in LA don’t come this way,” Masvidal said in a tweet directed at Bisping.
Even though Bisping has started a war with Cuban UFC fighters, his next fight will not be against Romero or Masvidal.
At UFC 213, Whittaker won a decision against Romero to become the interim UFC 185-pound champion, which puts him next in line to fight Bisping for his title.
Fuck #bitchping @bisping has every Cuban on him now. It's #hoslap on site. Keep your ass in LA don't come this way https://t.co/X4X0qEyzPa
