Kelvin Gastelum Keeps Things Classy In New Statement About Weidman Loss

UFC middleweight Kelvin Gastelum suffered a big defeat at last weekend’s UFC on FOX 25 main event. The competitor faced off against former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman for division dominance. However, Gastelum suffered a submission loss in the third round.

Now, Kelvin Gastelum has provided a statement on his recent loss. As posted to social media, Gastelum stated:

“Tough loss my friends! But it happens! Chris weidman made me a better fighter and an even better man last night!! I sat back in my room eating a pizza (as I always do after every fight) lol and realized I have no real reason to feel bad or disappointed!

“And that Iam extremely blessed with people who surround me and love me! I competed against one of the best fighters in the world, and I got to live my dream in fighting in the biggest arenas in the world against the best athletes in the world! I gave it my all and he was simply the better technician that night! The beginning of a new dawn has emerged from this! I’ll be back! ?”
