Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight contenders Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson were initially set to battle it out for the interim title at UFC 209. However Nurmagomedov was pulled from the night’s co-main event due to weight management issues. Now, the two warriors are looking to try things one more time.
While the two fighters have yet to lock in another fight date, the trash talking between the two mixed martial artist is back in full swing. Most recently the two fighters took to Twitter to dish out a little damage to each other.
Ferguson stated, “Stand Up Is Terrible, Grappling Level Is Not The Best. Telegraphs Transitions & I Face Much Better Grapplers.”
In response, Ferguson stoically left the simply message, “#WeWillSee.”
