Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor are set to face off on Aug. 26 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, the two fighters came face to face for the first time already.
The first stop on the promotional world tour for Mayweather vs. McGregor was made in Los Angeles, California. During the event, Mayweather and McGregor had their first staredown and shared some intense trash talking.
After the event, Mayweather took a moment to be interviewed by Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting. In the interview, Mayweather explained that he is looking to bring back a “vintage” Floyd Mayweather for his fans.
“The media and the people have been asking, ‘We want vintage Mayweather. We don’t want Money Mayweather. We want Pretty Boy Floyd.’ So, I gave them Pretty Boy Floyd.” Mayweather stated.
