UFC star Nate Diaz was not impressed with the third press conference for the highly anticipated boxing match between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
On Thursday, the third of four consecutive press conferences took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Even though McGregor was expected to have the advantage when it came to trash talk, Mayweather upstaged McGregor at the latest press conference.
“Damn Ufc got punked today…” Diaz wrote on Twitter.
Diaz is the only man to defeat McGregor in the UFC. In March 2016, at UFC 196, Diaz pulled off a major upset when he submitted McGregor.
During this week’s press conferences, Mayweather constantly brings up the fact that McGregor tapped out to Diaz. Mayweather often refers to McGregor as a quitter.
On Friday, Mayweather and McGregor will hold the final press conference of their world press tour in London.
McGregor will make his professional boxing debut against Mayweather on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
Damn Ufc got punked today …
