Rapper Nelly has given his official prediction for the upcoming boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Nelly appeared on FOX Sports 1 and discussed the highly anticipated boxing match that will take place next month.
“I don’t think Conor is going to win. Not Conor getting knocked out or getting his (expletive) kicked. I don’t think that really going to happen,” Nelly said.
“I don’t think he’s going to get knocked out. With 10 oz. gloves that’s like a pillow fight for someone like Conor McGregor. He’s used to using those MMA gloves, getting kneed to the face, and kicked to the side of the head.
“I would not be surprised if Conor did something in the sense of putting his hands behind his back and letting Floyd take his best shot. Just to show that he has no effect.”
Nelly believes Mayweather will win the fight by points, but he also thinks McGregor will put on a show without getting knocked out by the boxing legend.
“I definitely think Floyd will win a decision, but a knockout, I don’t think that’s going to happen,” Nelly said.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
