Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and contender Valentina Shevchenko were set to face off at UFC 213. However, things quickly fell apart as Nunes pulled out of the night’s main event fight on just hours notice.
Amanda Nunes pulled out of UFC 213 after suffering health issues. The fighter later revealed that she suffers from sinusitis. However, the champion is now set to face off against former opponent and rising challenger Shevchenko once more.
As reported by Combate, Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko have been rescheduled for UFC 215. UFC 215 goes down Sept. 9 inside Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada.
