Another exciting night of fights is now in the books. UFC 214 went down last night, July 29, inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. Among the night’s many exciting fights, UFC light heavyweight contender Jimi Manuwa faced off against Volkan Oezdemir. However, the night did not go Manuwa’s way.
Jimi Manuwa suffered a swift knockout loss to his opponent in the first round of their match up. Following the stunning strike, Jimi Manuwa lurched back to consciousness, only to be grappled by referee Jason Herzog.
Immediately returning to fight mode, Manuwa can be seen attempting to better his position after being knocked out. However, referee Jason Herzog was in total control of the fighter with his grappling finesse.
