Former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis has returned to the division where he became a world champion.
At UFC 213, on Saturday, Pettis fought longtime lightweight veteran Jim Miller.
The two fought in an exciting battle that saw Pettis earn a unanimous decision victory.
Despite Pettis clearly winning the fight, Miller proved once again why he deserves to compete against the best 155-pound fighters in the world.
During the fight, Pettis showed many of the flashy kicks that made him a star in the UFC. In the third round, Pettis badly busted open Miller. Despite being bloodied, Miller refused to give up and once again showed why he is one of the grittiest fighters in the UFC.
With his win over Miller, Pettis is once again a contender in the division that he once ruled.
