On Friday, the UFC crowned its latest champion of The Ultimate Fighter.
Jesse Taylor has won the 25th season of TUF. The latest season of the reality series was properly titled The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption.
Taylor definitely earned redemption after finally earning his first win in the UFC.
Back in 2008, Taylor made it to the semifinals of TUF but was kicked off the show due to actions outside of the cage.
Nine years later, Taylor has received a second opportunity and he capitalized on it by winning the competition.
Taylor submitted Dhiego Lima to win the latest season of TUF. He dominated Lima with his wrestling ability in the first round. In the second round, Lima dropped Taylor, but Taylor recovered and took Lima’s back on the ground. Taylor then locked in a rear-naked choke and finished the fight.
