Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight top contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has retired from the sport of mixed martial arts. That being said, the former fighter will be making an appearance at tonight’s UFC 214. In an interview with Brett Okamoto, Athony Johnson revealed what it will take to get him back into the octagon.
UFC 214 goes down tonight, July 29, inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. In the night’s main event, Jon Jones will be looking to take back his light heavyweight title from rival and current champion Daniel Cormier. For Anthony Johnson, the night’s main event may be what it takes to sway him back into fighting.
Anthony Johnson explained that he currently does not miss the sport. However, when talking about tonight’s main event, Johnson said “It depends on how the fight goes. I might just get that itch.”
