On Thursday, former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone squared off prior to their fight on Saturday.
During media day for UFC 214, Lawler and Cerrone went face-to-face in front of the media.
Cerrone was all smiles and looked to be happy, while Lawler looked intense and appeared like he didn’t want to be there.
Lawler and Cerrone will finally meet inside of the Octagon on Saturday. The two elite welterweights have been scheduled to fight on two separate occasions this past year.
They were scheduled to fight back in November, but Lawler withdrew because he needed more time to recover from his knockout loss to UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley.
The fight was rebooked for UFC 213 earlier this month, but Cerrone was forced to withdraw due to injury.
UFC 214 will take place Saturday, July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
