Arthur Jones, the older brother of former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, says he and his brothers jumped a lot of people growing up.
During an interview with TMZ Sports, Arthur Jones said he gets nervous watching his brother fight inside the Octagon because there is nothing he can do to help.
“My mom alway taught us if one fight then we all fight. So we jumped a lot of people growing up, me and my brother,” Arthur Jones said.
“That’s how we were raised. If one didn’t fight, the one who didn’t jump the guy we were fighting, the one son would get whooped. We were raised a little different.”
Arthur Jones plays in the NFL. He has experience playing for the Baltimore Raven and Indianapolis Colts. He was released from the Colts earlier this year.
Arthur and Jon’s youngest brother, Chandler, also plays for the NFL. Chandler Jones has played for the New England Patriots and currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals.
Jon Jones will fight UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 214 on July 29.
