EA Sports has made their official prediction for the highly anticipated title match between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and former champion Jon Jones.
Cormier will defend his championship against Jones in the main event of UFC 214, which will take place Saturday, July 29 in Anaheim, California.
EA Sports simulated Saturday’s main event in the game UFC 2.
According to the simulation, Cormier will struggle to close the distance in the first round, which will allow Jones to land more shots and win the round.
In round two, Cormier will be able to get Jones to the ground, and from there will unload with ground-and-pound.
In the third round, both fighters will exchange dominant position on the ground.
In round four, EA predicts Jones will drop Cormier with a flying knee that will lead to Jones getting a TKO victory.
