UFC 214 took place Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and it featured the most stacked card of the year.
Two undefeated featherweights fought on the prelims as Brian Ortega fought Renato Moicano.
Both fighters were undefeated with 11 wins and were fighting to prove who deserves to be a title contender in the UFC featherweight division.
Moicano opened the fight with a leg cut. Ortega responded with punching combinations, but Moicano had no problem throwing hands as well. Both fighters then began trading fight-finishing punches. The fight was briefly stopped by an eye poke to Moicano. Moicano then landed a clean head kick to the jaw. In the final minute, both featherweights traded punches. In the final seconds, Ortega threw a flying knee that barely connected.
