On Saturday, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum fought longtime rival Alistair Overeem in a highly anticipated rubber match.
Both fighters had a win over the other in different promotions, but at UFC 213, both heavyweights got the chance to prove who was better on MMA’s biggest stage.
In the end, Overeem walked out of the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a majority decision victory.
Overeem and Werdum fought in an extremely close fight that could have seen either fighter walk away with the win. The fight could have also easily been a draw.
It was hard to choose a winner of the first round, but the second round clearly went to Overeem. Then in round three, Werdum has the most dominant decision of the fight.
