UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes is still having issues with her sinuses.
Just over a month before her next fight, Nunes says she is still is not 100 percent and is still having issues breathing.
Nunez talked about her health in a recent interview with TSN.
“To this day, I still cannot train 100 percent,” Nunes said.
Nunez suffers from chronic sinusitis. Her illness forced her to withdraw from her last fight.
Earlier this month, at UFC 213, Nunes was scheduled to defend her title against top contender Valentina Shevchenko. Just hours before the fight was scheduled to take place, Nunes withdrew from the fight due to her illness.
Nunes is now once again scheduled to defend her title against Shevchenko in the co-main event of UFC 215.
UFC 215 will take place Sept. 9 at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canda. In the main event, UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson will defend his title against Ray Borg.
