Urijah Faber Pegged To Hit The Mic With Snoop

Soon to be UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber will do commentary with rap icon Snoop Dogg in the UFC.

Faber and Snoop Dogg will provide commentary for the new UFC Fight Pass series Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.

The new series will feature five live fights at the UFC Gym in Las Vegas every Tuesday night. The fights will feature fighters trying to make their way into the UFC.

“Can’t wait to be on the mic with the OG,” Faber wrote on his Instagram page with a photo of Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur.

The UFC announced the new commentary pairing on Thursday. The promotion says there will also be a more traditional commentary team covering the fights, but UFC Fight Pass subscribers will have the option to choose “SnoopCast” in order to listen to Snoop Dogg and Faber.

The new fight series will debut July 11. Just days before, on July 6, Faber will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
