It’s clear UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has a lot of respect towards former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones.
Whenever McGregor and Jones have been together, McGregor always calls Jones the second best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Obviously, McGregor thinks of himself as the number one pound-for-pound fighter.
In the video below, you can see a compilation of friendly meetings between McGregor and Jones. You can even see the two elite fighters playfully spar each other.
Both Jones and McGregor are training for what could be the biggest fights of their careers.
On July 29, Jones will get the opportunity to win back the championship he never lost. At UFC 214, Jones will fight UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier in the main event.
On Aug. 26, McGregor will make his professional boxing debut. He is set to fight Floyd “Money” Mayweather in a 12-round boxing match that will be contested at 154 pounds.
