Things got intense during Wednesday’s press conference for the upcoming fight between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Mayweather and McGregor are currently on a world press tour that will see both fighters travel to four different cities, in three different countries, in the span of four days.
On Wednesday, they held a press conference in Toronto. Thousands of people stood in the rain to cheer on McGregor as he insulted his upcoming opponent.
However, Mayweather had no issues playing the bad guy. During the event, Mayweather took an Irish flag from the crowd and wrapped it around himself, while mocking McGregor.
Eventually, Mayweather gave McGregor the flag and McGregor responded by throwing it in Mayweather’s face.
In the video below, you can watch the entire incident take place.
On Thursday, the third press conference of the tour will take place in Brooklyn. On Friday, Mayweather and McGregor will square off for the final time in London.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
