Another exciting fight night is now in the books, with UFC 214 having taken place over the weekend. The event hosted a night of excitement. New UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones called out former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Tyron Woodley and Demian Maia broke a UFC record. Beyond that, the night hosted three separate title fights within the main card.
UFC President Dana White recently gave his thoughts on the exciting event in an interview with UFC’s Megan Olivi.
Speaking on Jones calling out Brock Lesnar, White stated “Yeah, it’s interesting. I haven’t talked to Brock, but apparently Brock did say he wanted to fight Jon Jones. Jon Jones just said he wants to fight Brock Lesnar, so we’ll see what happens.”
The president did not have many kind words for Tyron Woodley’s title defense against Demian Maia. “There is not much to be pleased with or to talk about. What really is there to talk about in that fight?” White said.
