Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey has returned to the WWE.
While Rousey isn’t competing in the wrestling promotion, she made an appearance to support her close friend Shayna Baszler, who was making her WWE debut.
Rousey and Baszler are members of the Four Horsewomen of MMA. The group consists of Rousey, Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir.
Rousey was met by WWE stars when she arrived in Orlando, Florida to support Baszler. In the video below, you can see Rousey interact with WWE stars Triple H and Natalya Neidhart.
Rousey, Duke, and Shafir were all in attendance for Baszler’s WWE debut. Baszler is competing in the first ever Mae Young Classic, a tournament featuring 32 of the best female wrestlers outside of the WWE.
Shafir is engaged, and recently had a child, with WWE’s Roderick Strong.
With so many of the Four Horsewomen having strong ties with the WWE, there has been speculation of whether or not Rousey may have a future in the wrestling promotion. With her MMA career possibly being over, professional wrestling may be a good fit for the former UFC champion.
