The combat sports world is eagerly awaiting the dream boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
Many people aren’t giving McGregor much of a chance in this upcoming fight because he has no professional boxing experience, while Mayweather is one of the greatest fighters to ever put on a pair of gloves.
However, some UFC fighters have found success in the sport of boxing. Just because their sport takes place in a cage, and has different rules, doesn’t mean that UFC fighters cannot hold their own in a boxing ring.
In the video below, you can watch UFC welterweight prospect Alan Jouban hold his own against an undefeated boxer.
Jouban goes back-and-forth with the boxer for almost three minutes.
In the UFC, Jouban has won three of his last four fights. His last win came in December against “Platinum” Mike Perry. Jouban is currently coming off a loss to McGregor’s teammate Gunnar Nelson.
